Vacuum Oil Filtering Machine
I. Oil Filtering MachineGeneral
In order to meet the requirements in maintaining and repairing high or low pressure oil equipment on the site in electric power service departments, we have designed and manufactured vacuum oil filtering machine with small size, light specific weight, low noise, long work duration, stable performances and easy operation, used for filtering off water, gases or foreign matter from transformer oil, turbine oil, machine oil, hydraulic oil or other oils in power plants, power stations, substations, electric equipment factories, industrial and mining enterprises.
II.Oil Filtering Machine Main applications
1. Site oil filtering and filling for various oil-immersed transformers, oil-immersed current and voltage transformers, hydraulic systems and oil-minimum circuit breakers.
2. Site hot oiling drying for the equipment mentioned above, especially for oil-immersed current and voltage transformers, and oil-minimum circuit breakers, the hot oiling drying is more effective. The filtering machine can be used not only for definite purpose filtering equipment for filling hydraulic system with new oil, but also for definite purpose equipment for regularly filtering off contaminant from system media, as well as for filling filtering, regular service filtering and bypass filtering for systems.
3. Site vacuum oiling and oil-filling for oil immersed equipment, as well as vacuumizing equipment.
4. Purifying slight deteriorated transformer oil to make its performance up to grade.
III.Oil Filtering Machine Main features
1. Small size, light weight.
2. One machine serves multiple ends, with complete functions, used for dewatering, degassing, three-set filtering (coarse, middle and fine filtering).

IV.Oil Filtering Machine Principle
Vacuum oil filtering machine is designed based on different boiling point of water and oil, consisting of strainer, heater, vacuum chamber, atomizer, vacuum pump, oil discharge pump, cooler, temperature controller, oil level controller, fine filter and electric control. Start vacuum pump system. When the negative pressure of vacuum gauge reaches 0.06MPa, open oil inlet valve. Oil to be purified flows from the main oil tank through strainer where water and foreign matter with larger particle are filtered off from oil. The oil coarsely filtered flows into heater. The oil heated flows into vacuum chamber, through atomizer, where under certain temperature and vacuum conditions, oil and water are sufficiently atomized, water is vaporized up, oil is down, water content and gas atomized are pumped by vacuum pump, entering cooler. Hot steam becomes water through water cooling, part of steam not condensed into water is discharged by vacuum pump. When oil level of vacuum pump reaches the center of lower sight glass, start oil discharge pump, transmitting oil into fine filter, oil from which particle and other foreign matter are filtered off discharge into main oil tank.
V. Oil Filtering Machine Operation instructions
(1) Oil Filtering Machine Preparation before operation
1. Open electric box, check whether all electric elements are complete, loosened, damp. Clear up foreign matter.
2. Check rotary direction of motor for compliance with direction of indicating arrow.
3. Check all bolts and nuts of the machine for looseness, check whether oil level of the sight glass reaches the level line.
4. Connect main power supply cable and ground wire.
5. Close water discharge valve of cooler. Check all hose joints for looseness. Connect inlet and outlet oil pipe.
6. Check strainer and fine filter for well assembly.
7. Close all valves.
(2)Oil Filtering Machine Start
1. Open the door of electric box, turn on the main switch of power supply, adjust temperature controller to 45 to 65°C.
2. Start vacuum pump. Observe vacuum gauge, check whether negative pressure reaches the regulated value (generally, approaching -0.06MPa is right).
3. After vacuum pump has well run, open oil inlet valve, observe oil level in vacuum chamber.
4. When oil level reaches the lower sight glass of vacuum chamber, start oil discharge pump. Do not start heater until oil is well circulating. During initial operation, because of internal damp or too much water content in oil within the machine, a great deal of oil foam may be generated in vacuum chamber. Now, slightly open gas valve to reduce vacuum degree and eliminate foams. If too much water content in turbine oil, do pay attention to advance of oil foam during normal operation, to avoid foam from entering vacuum pump and causing failure. After the machine runs normally, close air inlet valve. During normal operation, control advance of oil foam, and also vacuum degree at about -0.08MPa.
(3)Oil Filtering Machine Notes during operation
1. Working temperature of vacuum pump shall not be higher than 75°C.
2. All motor run without abnormal noise. Working temperature of motors shall not be higher than 60°C.
3. Pay attention to pressure gauge, if the pressure gauge is over the regulated value, stop the machine to clean filter elements.
4. If oil quantity id too little, check strainer, whether filter screen is blocked, if blocked, filter screen may be washed with kerosene, and re-used.
(4)Oil Filtering Machine Notes when stop
First stop heater, then stop vacuum pump, close oil inlet valve, do not stop oil discharge pump until oil in tank has discharged. Finally, cut off the main power supply. Open gas discharge valve to discharge water out of cooler.
